DYLAN'S FINAL SCOUTMASTER CONFERENCE

Jenny would have been so proud to see Dylan pass his sixth and final Scoutmaster conference Sunday. A Scoutmaster conference is needed for promotion to any level in Scouts. Dylan owes this achievement to Jenny, who tirelessly helped Dylan fulfill the requirements of Eagle. During the conference, Jenny’s contributions came up several times and Dylan acknowledged her repeatedly.

March 2022: For his Eagle project, Jenny here helps Dylan by tracking each rescued stroller by type, brand, needed-repair and donor. The strollers would be delivered by Dylan to families in transition.

Jenny kept track of the myriad of Eagle requirements for Dylan including merit badges, leadership activities and, of course, his Eagle project. Jenny also planned Dylan’s activities and was constantly on watch for opportunities for fulfilling requirements.

For example, Dylan needed a hike with 1000 feet of climb, at least six miles long and in connection with camping. To meet all three requirements, Jenny found the trail below for Dylan, situated in the Diablo Range foothills and within spitting distance of Joseph Grant Park, where we camped.
